JavaScript Coding

I code with basic JavaScript daily at DataOne Software with image rotation, menu navigation, and form validation. The following JavaScript code examples are from my curriculum at The New England Institute of Art.

This is a complete web safe color palette created in javascript with for loops.             This is a JavaScript Memory Match Game. It was created for a final project in Advanced Java and JavaScript during my 6th semester. This game was also recreated for CBS on http://tv38.com             This is a JavaScript game with fast changing images. The images scroll though randomly and when the green check mark flashes the user needs to click it. If you win or lose an alert pops up and then you can play again.

PHP Scripting

These PHP examples are a collaboration of class assignments from my server side scripting class at the New England Institute of Art and personal freelance work. I created a form that is processed by PHP for CookieDiet at my internship for Big Fish Communications. I currently work with PHP at DataOne Software to make front end development work with the designs created. I am able to manipulate parts of the page or interior pages with PHP to suit the needs of the design.

This is a basic content management system. What this page does is add a link to my homepage of my old site.             This PHP page is the same structure as the CMS page although this was created to add times to a chart. This would be utilized in an office to add a meeting time, place, and page.             This piece is an extension of the last piece. This is a PHP confirmation page and a directory to decide whether you would like to add another meeting time or view the current meetings available.             This is a continuation of another project on this page. This is the actual board for the messages added by any user. This is where the PHP form adds any message.

This page was created at my first internship at Big Fish Communication in Brookline MA. This is just a HTML form page with JavaScript for validation and PHP for processing.             This site is done completely in PHP using the force get request. The whole site is pretty much one page and looks like 5. Click through and test it out. There is also a form on there to test saving information.             This was a group final project for my server side scripting class with Dale Campbell. This is a bulletin board system custom made with PHP. This project took a lot of time and effort on all team members. The CSS was created by another student in another class to connect two classes together.

ASP Scripting

I learned ASP during the first half of my Web Design and Development 3 class at the New England Institute of Art. This class was a basic level of ASP we learned the syntax and fundamentals of the programming language. The few projects below were created for class assignments. The craps game was the most involved out of all of the ASP projects to date. I currently don’t work with ASP although I do know the basics and could work around it with the knowledge I do have.

What this piece does is grabs the time stamp off of your server and then translates that into words. So every time your browser is refreshed the time will have changed.             What this piece does is grabs the Date stamp off of your server and then translates that into words. So every time your browser is refreshed the date will have changed if the date usually changes in that time frame.             This is a basic page counter. Page counters were a big deal a few years ago but not so huge now. This one uses images to count and a text file. Open and close this link as many times as you would like and it will add to the current number.             This was a long and involved project to create a basic casino type game of craps. This was a mid-term project and took weeks to complete. I hope you all enjoy this it was a tuff one.

XML Code

I learned XML through Web Design and Development 3 with Dale Campbell at the New England Institute of Art. The class covered basic XML functionality and development. These are Basic XML examples.

This was one of the first complete xml projects I did. This takes designated fields and inputs the parts of the recipe for Scrambled Eggs             This was my final project for Web Design and Development 3. This page takes the names of balloons, pilots and any other relevant data. This page for some reason has a bit of a problem staying lined up. Not sure why but it is still pretty cool.
